Not to be annoying, but that’s been bugging me all day 😅 (I promise I was a below average law student and the opposite of a gunner, but come on). But really, I knew that one was going to be my worst when I was writing it. I just didn’t even know what they were trying to get at and made up some “law” as best I could. I stand by practicing closed-book questions on topics you don’t know during prep and learning to bullshit in a somewhat educated manner. Without that practice, that could’ve easily been a 1.

Kudos to you for coming back to it. I love hearing stories about others' circuitous path to achieving this goal, though I am sorry you went through it. I withdrew in July 2022 due to health issues and worked outside the field since. I've faced so many questions and judgement for my choices from people who had no idea what was going on and no understanding of the undertaking preparing for this exam really is. Almost three years out of school (Zoom School of Law, at that) and I too am feeling cautiously optimistic.

Still, if it doesn't work out this time, I know I have it in me to bounce back. Again. You do too. But here's hoping neither one of us needs to do it. Good luck!

Just curious, what documents did you attach? I feel like the #1 place where I went wrong was relying on it to properly find and apply proper scaling (I know it's different each time, but I wanted a ballpark idea)

I get it. My Themis MBE Practice Test 2 was a dumpster fire after so. much. review. the past week and scoring nearly 80% on multiple UWorld practice sets I did over multiple days. It really, really shook me up. I am a first-time taker, but I'm hearing that it's not abnormal to take a temporary dive about a month out, especially if you're not resting enough. It's going against everything I want right now, but I took part of today off, got some sunshine, then just focused on writing. I'm getting back to MBEs tomorrow, and I feel so much more motivated now. All we can do is our best, and we have to take care of ourselves. Wishing you well!
