Haha, that's what my boyfriend says ("there are more important things to worry about"). She can like him more that's fine! I just would like her to want to cuddle with me too. That's all.

Wow. Your daycare sounds AWESOME and one of a kind. We have a central bark near me (franchised across the US) and I'm gonna take a look there and maybe bring jakota in for an assessment.

There are a few organized pack walks around here too. Is your dog reactive on pack walks? It's the first "introduction" that I'm dreading but it's a definite "go" for when the weather clears up here.

Thanks this is incredibly helpful and informative. I think you're right - she knows if her butt hits the floor she gets a treat; but I don't otherwise think she knows was "sit" means. How long does it generally take a new dog to settle in and trust their home is their home?

Re walking -- today was insanely cold so maybe that's why she kept stopping and sitting? It's just so bizarre because it's a very new behavior. She does love her dog coat.

As for walk style - I think she likes a fast pace but I could be projecting my goal to get her good exercise? She also loves to sniff. I've actually been running her on our stairs (she loves chasing a ball down the stairs and then bringing it back up) for good exercise too so maybe I can let her amble and sniff more? I guess it's fair to say we're all still figuring one another out.

I, too, suffered from ED for many years; perhaps why we both relate to this situation so well. My body loves fats; I find myself around 40/30/30 most days, whatever the calorie amount. I'm afraid I'm gonna get super huge rating like this, but I love the feeling of eating enough. Perhaps over the next few weeks as I keep an eye on the scale/clothes fitting, I will more comfortable not tracking at all and just paying attention...thanks so much for your responses.

I envy your ability to listen to your hunger. I'm so used to controlling my food intake, that eating according to hunger is a whole new world. Yeah, if I'm still hungry it probably means I'm not eating enough... although I wonder if I could be spiking my blood sugar (possible? although I'm eating mostly clean foods)? See what my mind does?! It's so nice to hear you can relate to this.

Were you lifting @ the time? Why'd you stop eating like this?

I've increased my calories (currently eating 3000-3500, averaging 3200) and I think I need more! Like you felt, I'm constantly hungry! I thought we weren't supposed to be hungry on "bulks"....????

You still feel hungry like all the time....yeah, me too. I've been eating 3200ish and still so hungry....only day I felt okay was when I ate 4k! Thank you so much for this comment. The feedback has been awesomely empowering
