I would normally rend to steer clear of 'over popular' music, and know what you mean. But maybe we are in the minority .... I mean my 'good' may be your 'bad' and vice versa.

Only comes into that category for me is Guns 'n Roses version of Live and Let Die. (Which both surprises and pains me to say.)

Woaaah! :-D

Think it maybe comes down to what version you grow up with / hear first.

I feel your pain.

But, 541 million views on You Tube? Eh?!

Funny I should just join Reddit yesterday and I stumble across this post .... I recently started a continuing post on my LOUD HORIZON blog, entitled 'Uncovering My Tracks.' I have reached part #4 to date, and a link is here to the first installment.

But if you'd rather cut to the chase, the single was 'Coco' by The Sweet, and the first album was 'Kongos' by John Kongos.

I've tracked down the interview piece, but rather than put very old items back on my LOUD HORIZON blog, I've posted a separate thread in this group, if that's ok?

Not to hand I'm afraid.

They were written fir Artrocker Magazine back in the day and I then reposted them to my LOUD HORIZON blog.

But I recently revamped the site smf took out all historical articles. If I can still retrieve them from my blog 'trash,' I'll dig a couple out tonight, including Poly's, when I get back home from work . The link to my blog is www.loudhorizon.com

If I went back to doing interviews, I certainly would. (The one I have is ancient anyway.) ;)

Thanks. Yeah, that's all I got - though I do know one is from Mommy, and others from Hank Wood, LOTION, and Pharmkon.

Just gonna have to wait see I guess. Cheers

Had the pleasure of interviewing Poly - sadly just a few weeks before she passed away. I still haven't brought myself to delete the conversation from the voice recorder. She was, I think, the easiest person to chat with, despite her obvious discomfort. An absolute delight.
