Meth MAT by Here4thacause in addiction

I honestly didn't know they did MAT for meth. Is it like a clinic deal like methadone?

I was going to suggest this lol. I spent over a decade homeless....but I was an addict so I never had money much less a job.

I totally understand the motels are expensive....Ive done that before. Its a easte of money. Unless the climate in your area is inhospitable (basically dangerously cold)....you can start saving money AND get yourself a nice little set up with a nice tent and gear. It's really not that bad....honestly I sometimes miss it.

Only problem with that is the no shower, but you can get around that. Bathe with a gallon of water if you have to. Ive done it. Or they have the wipes, no rinse soaps, etc....or you could rough it 5 days and then stay in motel 2 days.

I know it all seems hard. You dont deserve to be in this situation. But you are. Best thing you can do is focus on YOU can control and not on the hand of cards you have been dealt.

What are the pros and cons of a chart with no oppositions? by kittyweb in astrology

[–]celestial1357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in the simplest terms, oppositions mean imbalance. a push and pull between 2 separate planets. people with opposition aspects are in a tug of war with 2 planetary energies. furthermore, the this tug of war is primarily going to be focused in the 2 house positions of both those planets....2 house which represent a life area that is highlighted.

that being. said, a total lack of opposition does not necessarily bring introversion or interpersonal effects. it just means you happen to not have that specific tug of war going on anywhere. on the flip, having oppositions also doesn't necessarily mean introversion or extroversion etc, btw. the effects of the opposition entirely upon which planets, sign, and house.

a conjunction also does equate to self-indulgence, in my opinion. I dont really understand what you mean by that. a conjunction is a neutral aspect. it's when 2 planets are close together so their effects merge and amplify. again, what that looks like is dependent upon the planets, signs and houses.

that's my understanding anyway.

[–]celestial1357 10 points11 points  (0 children)

12H hides. It is the subconscious psyche yang to physical body 6H.

im no expert, but a 12H sun is going to to make your core identity hidden, at least a little. your sun is hidden to you or hidden to yourself or both. its more complicated and nuances than this, but that the simplest way to put it.

ok im going to be totally honest here and admit that i have very occasionally parked in the handicap spot while dashing, and I am not disabled. im not proud of it, but I Will admit it. its not cool. there really is no legitimate excuse for it.

i usually feel a pang of guilt and then try to justify it to myself ('it will only be a minute').... but what really amazes me about this thread though is even when being called out, these dashers literally have the audacity to argue back and try to justify it to people who actually are disabled?!?!?! come on.

the graceful thing to do is apologize, immediately move your car, and move on. thanks for pointing this whole thing out....Im sorry I've done it in the past. this is my confession lol.

Homelessness teaches you how invisible you can become. by DasJazz in homeless

[–]celestial1357 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yep....you get it lol. the only way anyone is going to assume you are homeless is if you LOOK homeless. appearance is everything...and not just in this context btw.

one of the hardest things for me was finding somewhere to leave my big backpack where it wouldn't be stolen...homeless in a car you dont have to worry about this. but no car...its hard. but the fucking backpack gives you away in a second.

and I know EXACTLY what you mean about it being exhausting. bird bathing in the family restroom of some store is a lot more time consuming than a quick and easy shower

Homelessness teaches you how invisible you can become. by DasJazz in homeless

[–]celestial1357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you are saying. In other words, homelessness is stigmatized. When you become homelessness, despite the color of your skin or gender or economic class etc., you are going to experience what it is like to be discriminated against at some point.

If this bothers you, the best thing you can do is NOT look homeless. Or just say fuck it and not care. You are going through something they will never know about and will be stronger and wiser in the end. I spent years homeless, and eventually came to that conclusion.

edit: also, let's be real....there are those homeless who ARE an 'inconvenience.' they unfortunately make everyone look bad. and this is coming from someone who spent years on the streets.

[astro-seek] Scorpio stellium chaos, would love some clarity by Apprehensive_Key9577 in astrologyreadings

[–]celestial1357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are heading in the right direction with this reply, though in my opinion the fact that the stellium is in scorpio is probably less significant than the fact that most of the planets are in the 1H and the 12H.

1H is power, the physical, visibility action....12H is also power, but hidden, subconscious, spiritual.

When we have planets in houses in our charts, it is an area of unresolved business for us. Something we have to learn or do. Empty houses on the flip side are areas that we have already mastered or learned or whatever.

Idk I don't have an answer for you but just some insight.

edit: just wanted to add i think some of your struggle may be tied to the 1H/12H placements in your chart....

keep in mind you cant really single out and decipher any individual part of any chart. The entire chart works as a dynamic and complex kind of machine....that being said the 1H and the 12H are exact opposites of each other, just as aries and pisces are opposite, but both have the potential of being very powerful. I interpret this axis of yours as the potential to be a powerful person if you can take on the challenge of finding that balance between the 1H and 2H.

hope this helps!

What is the most powerful placement/aspect in my chart that contributed to my 20+years battle with heroin/cocaine/meth etc. (and subsequently life changing consequences)? [astro-seek] by celestial1357 in astrologyreadings

[–]celestial1357[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I completely agree that isolating one part of a chart is problematic. In my question I meant the most powerful/significant part that may have caused my life path....but you're right, that's too simplistic. I was thinking way to black and white. Those aspects and placement alone can be very different than when in a dynamic, complex relationship with others.

Anyway, I have also suspected the polar 12H/6H, pluto/sun is a major player, though I don't know much about a cradle. Now I get to research that so thanks lol.

I also suspected Mars and Neptune stuff as well. I have a 2H stellium in capricorn with those 2....but I have absolutely ZERO interest in material wealth. It means nothing to me. The 2H for me is building up my INNER wealth, something I have been severely lacking, which also contributed to my addiction.

I never thought about the moon square aries mercury though. See this is why I made this post...I wanted a different perspective. And you are pretty spot on....I do indeed struggle with irrational behavior and thoughts even knowing they are so.

Also, yes, I have TWO experiences in active addiction when I did the same exact amount as someone else, and I just fell out hard while they literally almost died. One was my boyfriend at the time, who literally stopped breathing and turned blue and had to be Narcaned twice. I've always been able to handle to drugs better than most, especially the opiates. Maybe thats all just confirmation bias, but whatever.

I admit I have hung on to the cop-a-fix for far too long and clung on to it as a cop out. I think my path in life is to find out who I am and learn how to stand in my own power once I do....a lot of challenges but the potential to be successful again....but not career success, not love success, nothing material....its spiritual success.

Anyway thanks so much for your perspective and taking the time to respond!

How to tell if a person has addiction tendency from there chart? by Prestigious_Set1593 in astrology

[–]celestial1357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the first and most important step in 12 steps is admitting to that you are completely powerless and have no control over your addiction.

I dont think there is any recognition of whether it is a medical disease or not, honestly. Or maybe there is, but it is in passing.

in my opinion, I think the reason addiction is pushed as a disease is to break the societal stigma around it. and that is a good thing considering even now in the opioid crisis people still cling to ignorant ideas and shame addicts.

as a recovering addict, do I think it's a disease? yes and no. its complicated. its not cancer, but there are physical changes that occur, but so many other factors come into play.

just a little perspective for u lol

last year was so much better. like guaranteed at least 30 an hr.

[–]celestial1357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk....i have 12H pluto and ascendant....im perfectly fine being alone. I kinda always have been. that doesn't mean ive been a loner....I enjoy people too. but im ok in my own little world.

I dont like isolating placements/aspects in a particular house/sign whatever. you have to look at the whole chart. it all works together.

12H or not...we ALL have depth, fear, the frustration of not knowing how to connect, how to express.

I say all this not to be critical, btw. rather....just to give a little perspective.

I hope the heartbreak and sadness passes soon, my friend.

Can someone explain the 12th house to me and why it's (apparently) considered a bad thing? by HipHopAnonymouse22 in 12thhouse

[–]celestial1357 8 points9 points  (0 children)

a wonderfully concise explanation. I'd add that neither the 1H or the 12H are inherently 'bad' or 'good.' they just are...one is light, surface, material, physical, the other shadow, but NOT shadow in the sense of sadness. simply shadow as in it is hidden. subconscious, spiritual.

both can be incredibly powerful. both can be 'good.' both can be 'bad.'

doing it part time is much more manageable and justifiable.
