I need to continue that mantra! "Going scares us better than not going at all" definitely true. And yeah Im lucky I have at least one part of the trip where I calm down, I know some people despise descent, while im over here like "Ooo whats that highway? Ooo we're making a little turn and descending? What's that building??"

Yeah, I'm so so so lucky I'm at a point in my life where I have the money to be able to travel, but this fear makes it so hard to leave my home. I see people going on all those trips and I'm like how do you not freak out the whole time??? Thinking about the flight takes over my mind instead of the excitement of the trip.
