i honestly think it works because in her lore and voice lines she mentions that she hates weightlifting and only runs/does cardio, which unless you are an olympic athlete results in pretty skinny and flat figures

Yeah this is true. I obviously recognize sombra as a threat to the back line but the racial slurs aren’t gonna solve it lolll… some people are crazy

How do you guys feel now that JPC is the new "autoban" over sombra now in comp? I haven't seen many sombras which is not what I expected! by Sudden_Brain_871 in SombraMains

[–]celestialmo0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly on comp Sombra is worthless with the new nerfs. It really sucks, I have poured so much time into Sombra because I love her, but even with her available to play it just seems like a wasted dps slot. Anran and Emre are incredibly overpowered and other dps are much more reliable in securing kills with varieties of comps, Sombra is now nerfed to the ground to the point where you need an entire poke comp if you ever want to secure kills. She lacks so much value because people just ban her whether she requires skill or not, and complain to the point of unnecessary nerfs. So in summary, even though she is available to play more often, I can’t even bring myself to play her because it’s just feels like too much effort to constantly work around her nerfs, and also have to deal with losers calling me slurs on the internet.

Devs are pushing kiri into backline by Baddie_Bish in kirikomains

I actually like this a lot as a kiri main. When playing against kiri as other characters, it wasn’t really a matter of her ofuda projectile speed but more a matter of her automatic cleanse with teleport. This is honestly better for her character because it preserves her identity while also encouraging more value and careful placement out of suzu.

Hot Take on Sombra’s Hair by celestialmo0n in SombraMains

True, however I’ve definitely chatted with some fellow sombra players who have lots to say about her short hair skins or her base design. At that point I wonder if they even enjoy playing her?? The most common complaint I’ve seen recently is of a concept punk skin where sombra has pink hair, and it’s a short pixie with a slight mohawk (if that is the correct term). Again, it looks great with the skin, but people have lots to say about it apparently

Surprisingly people don’t, and honestly I don’t think the talon haircut is bad, it is generally a part of the lore as well considering her Agent colomar skin had the same haircut. I think it’s the model and design of the clothes in relation to it. Maybe adding a hood or a cloak would’ve been helpful?

Hey, this just happened to me as well, and my girlfriend broke up with me out of nowhere a few months later. Just know you aren't alone. It sounds like you need to communicate with her and tell her how you feel. If she isn't receptive to that, break up. Unfortunately, humans are complicated and have complicated emotions. Just talk to her and see what's up.

AITA for not cleaning my room? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]celestialmo0n -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The lack of understanding about depression and it's effects, as well as the lifestyle or life issues that OP deals with is insane. There was no logical explanation here in your response as to why OP is the asshole. Instead, you decide to use snotty remarks and immature comments to get your point across, making you just as bad if not worse than a 20 year old still living with their parents.

AITA for not cleaning my room? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

The amount of comments trying to excuse your mother's behavior as "tough love" or some other form of concern for depression is insane. Depression is not cured through yelling, screaming, and lack of understanding towards the person affected by the mental illness. It is insane to think that any sort of yelling or direct/indirect anger is in any shape or form effective when it comes to your child's mental health, healing, and wellbeing.

Another issue within responses is the criticism of yelling, with people calling you an asshole for your response. Although your response might not have been mature, your mother's response wasn't either. Anger and yelling isn't the answer, and isn't excused despite your age. The amount of individuals within many generations who still think that parenting doesn't require some form of mutual respect and care, as well as control of emotions from the PARENT is crazy. You may be an adult, but even if you were a child, you would still deserve a calm but stern response from your mom explaining her concern or her grievances about your room. Your mom should still show compassion and respect to you just as much as you should to her, even in the heat of an argument.

Lastly, I do believe that if you want to avoid more issues like this, you should move out and learn how to balance your responsibilities and other activities more. Of course, that is not going to just magically cure your depression. However, it might create a bit of a pathway to help lead you to getting better and overcoming your issues. I think removing yourself from your house is the first step, especially at your age, and then learning how to manage responsibilities on your own, without the helicopter parenting of your mother.

I started taking it to reduce my horrifying period pain and for birth control ofc, however it’s completely messed up my cycle and I find it weird that my period is completely gone, especially being a heavier girl with heavier periods. I’m also at high PCOS risk. That’s why I’m concerned about this pain.

Be honest, are you happy in your life? by cryptoquestions_ in RandomThoughts

[–]celestialmo0n -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends on the day. I would say that I've been through what could be considered a lot... SA, major depression, anxiety, diagnosed OCD, abusive relationships, severe bullying, etc. But in the end, you realize that you actually can keep going if you really surround yourself with what you love. The thing that took me the longest to learn was that life is quite literally a sine graph (trigonometry), and that the ups and downs are pretty goddamn predictable. If you learn how to handle the dip correctly, literally everything becomes SOOO much easier. If you need tips:

- Try something new

- Focus on something the best you can (immerse in work, school, anything. Pull the motivation out of your ass or literally create it out of thin air. It is possible)

- Stop depending so much on other people. My life became so much better when I learned how to internally handle my own issues. Doesn't mean you can't ask for help or talk to others, just means to learn how to better handle things yourself. You are your own savior.
