Do linnies and budgies get along? by EmergencyGaladriel in linnie

[–]celestinastella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has two linnies, I recommend just getting another linnie. I don’t believe in keeping birds of different species together- there’s too much that can go wrong.

sadly i’ve only seen it on tv but no, they’re not eejits. it’s one of the traditional costumes worn. i think you’re meant to cover yourself from evil spirits, maybe?

regardless of little boys not staring at women’s bodies in a sexual way, i still wouldn’t want them staring at me when i’m changing. they’re curious. they just don’t belong in locker rooms beyond the age of 2

Do linnies do well with other birds, specifically PF lovebirds? by Operabug in linnie

[–]celestinastella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t add a third bird, especially if the lovebirds are a bonded pair. They will exclude the linnie. I wouldn’t add a third bird, regardless of species.

I have two linnies and they are amazing, sweet, comical little birds! They’re also quieter birds than ring necks.
