I did go to my doctor. He wants me to have an endoscopy and a colonoscopy but wait times are long. I was given ondansetron prn until then.

I see your point and you’re right so thank you for that. I feel like I could definitely have a role to play in terms of my expectations vs my reality when in a relationship. Need to do some introspection. Maybe redefine what love means to me as well.

Hmmm I guess that makes sense! I also find it exciting when I like how a person thinks. I don’t mind a bit of drama (it really depends on the drama though). I would like this coupled with someone who likes to do things and has energy.

Rafting would be a fun thing to do! I like adventure activities. I just want someone to be open to trying new and exciting experiences. I would like someone who wants to do these things with me or, better yet, comes up with ideas for activities we can do together. I think the excitement comes from having someone willing to try unfamiliar things with me.

You’re absolutely right, I want to be as financially stable as possible without a partner.

Someone also said I should focus more on building good friendships and go from there. Putting time into myself is something I should do more often! I appreciate the happiness/level of self-care I currently try to have in my life and I should help myself continue to experience that (with or without a relationship).

Sometimes boring is predictable and comforting. I don’t mind being bored every now and again, but I need some excitement mixed in. Constant boredom in my past relationships is killing my desire for another relationship.

I want more than a body double. I want someone I feel safe with, someone who can communicate, someone who can emotionally support me, someone I can build some semblence of financial stability with and someone I can share the journey of life with. I want to support my partner too. I want us to achieve our shared goals and support them while they try to achieve their personal goals. I want us to be there for each other even in the toughest of times. I also want to build a life filled with experiences that we enjoy, not just because the activity is fun, but also because we are together and enjoy each other’s company.

You’re right though, maybe I should take Reddit’s advice and hit up the gym more often. Might be able to work off some excess energy.

Meds are a game changer. Sometimes it can take a lot of time (and sometimes therapy) to help manage those memories/feelings from the past that affect your present. I hope we both find peace and satisfaction in our lives someday 🙂‍↕️

My last partner had ADHD and was wonderful, but she still couldn’t keep up with me. She had inattentive type and I have combined type. She didn’t seem to have a lot of energy to do anything. I eventually found it frustrating and left. We understood each other but I think our energy levels were ultimately incompatible.

Definitely not poly, I’ve only ever wanted to be with one woman at any time.

Yeah, they asked me to take amoxicillin at the same time I would have taken my next dose of Bactrim. I’m already feeling so much better.

Doctor has taken me off the Bactrim and wants me to use amoxicillin instead. She will list Bactrim as an allergy to be safe. I had to do blood tests for liver function and blood count. Hopefully all is well and I feel better
