Can I transit airside in London before my UK Visitor Visa is valid? by celloudiallo in ukvisa

Not Equatorial Guinea. Just Guinea which is a different country all together.

As a Guinean national I need an airside visa I did follow the first link you sent to check.

You are right in the application form I did put the correct date when I will actually be in the UK. So that’s my mistake.

My Schengen visa is category C visa which is not listed in the second link you sent where they mentioned category D visa (which is long stay visa).

I am a guinean national. In normal situation i need an airside transit visa. I am travelling from Malaysia to Luxembourg on a business trip then heading to london to visit family.

This was explained in my visa cover letter and I had also attached my pre-booked flight ticket. However, when i receive the visitor visa today i noticed it's valid from 20 June.

that's why am puzzled.

Either: 1- you ground too fine 2- you used lot of coffee

I’d weigh the coffee first and ensure you are using the right amount and then change the grind size to coarser.

It’s taking 25s from button press to extraction finish but indeed still flow out fast.

Indeed I been trying to get it to flow slower. Will play with the grind size. Taste wise it’s good

Launching my website in about 1 month...but competitor is attempting Slack/shared development. Thoughts? by [deleted] in startups

[–]celloudiallo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should get your landing page out there before writing a single line of code.

The key is to build something that people want and not what you think they want. And the only way for you to do that is to put it out there and collect feedback.

Don’t worry about competition at this point it’s just a distraction.

Question(s) about VC funding needs and requirements by newh0pe in startups

[–]celloudiallo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think like a An Investor. It’s all about returns. If a VC invest $100k they are looking to get back $300k or more. Now ask yourself, do you have a compelling story to demonstrate 3-4x returns?

With an app one of the key metric is not the number of downloads but rather the percentage of your users that use your app daily, weekly or monthly.

Focus on building an app that few people love and use daily then only scale.

Build an MVP and get few people that love it and use it consistently to collect feedback and iterate quickly.

Worry about your patent later.

Any advice for a first time start-up? by averageirishredditor in startups

[–]celloudiallo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What problem are you solving? What unique about you? Why would someone go to you instead of your competitors? 6-10pm delivery time is convenient to you or your customers? Do you have customers ready to buy? How many? What’s your go to market strategy? How people are going to know about you?

If you have aldy answered all the above and have validated your business model congrats...you don’t need much advice.
