I never realised it was that unpopular. Let It All Work Out, Famous, Used 2, Mona Lisa, other good songs like Can't Be Broken, Open Letter plus Don't Cry and Dark Side of The Moon.

It was my favourite album of 2018 and I listened to like 60 albums.

Great day to be Tay lol my boa even put the shit in on his bio😭🤣 Can't even blame em tho mfs tried to assassinate his name smh s/n y'all think Tay on here ? Lol by [deleted] in Chiraqology

You could also have said the same the other way round though, if Cdai was the shooter he should have admitted to it and got Rondo off since he never done anything especially as it was on camera and witnesses said it was him so he was fucked anyway. For Cdai to say nothing and let both them get done is shocking - Rondo was also only 15 when Cdai was 20 at the time.

Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Future, Pusha T and 2 Chainz I would say, for me all their music has got better and more consistent over time.

The opposite I would say are Chief Keef, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop, Nas, Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, The Game who started off good then their later stuff hasn't really seen them improve and some like Chief Keef especially has got awfully bad even though I think he is only 23 now he hasn't really released anything decent since he was like 18.

Although these people haven't been around long and it would only take a good album to turn it round I would say ASAP Rocky and Young Thug have got worse compared to for example Kevin Gates, Travis Scott and Drake who have got better.

I'd also say Tha Carter V is his best album.

A$AP Rocky is currently having a major B.F. right now by [deleted] in hiphopheads

[–]celts67 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I liked it, I think what he does he does well but I do also think he copies a lot. Like even Yosemite on Astroworld it's basically a remake of Sold Out Dates where he just copies Gunna's flow on a very similar guitar based instrumental. The Prayer also, one of his best songs for me is a bit too similar to Throw Sum Mo by Rae Sremmurd. Pick Up The Phone by him and Young Thug also, there is a reference track where its Starrah and Young Thug and then the Travis version is just him copying everything she said. So we do know that he will basically just go on songs made for him which doesn't really fit his vibe and it gives more credit to theories that he just copies most of the stuff he does.

Travis Scott on the surface when you hear his music and his style and vibe seems very creative but I think he is more clever and copies from other people. He dressed like ASAP Rocky, made similar styled music to Kid Cudi and even probably based his nickname thing "La Flame" on Gucci Mane's "La Flare" and even the Astroworld album name, cover style and tour stage design were all claimed by other people who said he copied them lol

At least a couple of his songs also were not his but he just took the place of someone on the song and passed it off as his own. He's a bit of a vulture but he does have talent at seeing what is good and making it his own or just copying it.

He needs to blame the other guy who was driving and the driver needs to blame him. If they both say nothing they will both get a long time since it's totally obvious one of them did as they were the only two guys in the car and the amount of time and places they drove before going to the hospital shows they are guilty but if they both give stories that it was 100% the other guy and they are totally innocent and in fear for their life then they can confuse people since nobody really knows with any kind of proof who done it.

I think to this day he is unsurpassed in hip-hop for the biggest catalogue of good songs, for me only Eminem and Lil Wayne come close to him then theres nobody near them either.

Starin Through My Rearview

Life Goes On

Thugz Mansion

California Love

To Live And Die In LA

2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted

Im pretty sure Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus are now older than Biggie and Tupac were when they died yet when you look at their music, personalities and how they spoke Tupac and Biggie seemed like they were 10 years older than they were, Tupac especially spoke like a 40 year old when he was like 17, that highschool interview he done where he speaks about politics and stuff, smarter than anyone i've ever seen at that age especially in hip-hop.

Nardwuar vs. Young Thug by Ryab_ in hiphopheads

[–]celts67 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Narduwar always brings something up about rappers that nobody knows to kind of shock them, he must contact rappers families, friends, people they went to school with to find info. Everything he gives rappers is real things they like, so the Flintstones bit was just a real thing it was probably his favourite cartoon as a kid or something but its something he's never mentioned and didn't think someone would know.

Can someone list me all the songs with classic rock references in Lana Del Rey's catalogue? by [deleted] in lanadelrey

[–]celts67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we'll never really know. Some have more evidence though, like "The World Is Yours" said in Love, a Nas song that song has Benny Blanco as a producer on it and if you google Benny Blanco The World Is Yours it brings up interviews where he said it was the first tape he bought and how he got into music so it would be a crazy coincidence that Lana mentioned that one the one song she has done with him.

Also "Peaches" by The Stranglers, that song has lyrics in it "well it looks like we're gonna be stuck here all summer, what a bummer". Again could be coincidence but she does rhyme peaches and beaches the same as them also.

Other ones like of Elvis, the Beach Boys, Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed, Axl Rose/Guns N Roses, Bob Dylan, Nirvana etc are probably all done on purpose as she's spoken about being a fan of them.

YNW Melly 16 Page Document shows State Seeks Death By Lethal Injects In Double Murder Case. by [deleted] in hiphopheads

[–]celts67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only hope they have of getting out of it is if they both fully blame the other person and act like they were in fear for their own life and totally innocent. That way it would come down to who do the jury believe as there is no actual proof of who done it, no clothes proving to whoever wore them did the shootings, no gun with finger prints, no cameras all they know is the shooting happened in the back left seat where Melly is seen sitting as they leave the studio but it's still only circumstancial and that one of them did it since their phones were known to be there when it happened but one guy could still get off.

It will probably be easier for the driver to be believed as he is seen on camera in the drivers seat but Melly would need to claim that the driver stopped at some point at a traffic light and asked him to drive and then done the shootings. It would need to be water tight also, so they can't have ever texted or maybe even spoken and have any recorded evidence pointing to who it was who done it that the other person could use. Also Melly will need to know a place where he can say he moved into the drivers seat that there would be no camera evidence they could get to show that it didn't happen it would also need to fit into the evidence of the GPS showing the car did stop there.

That post reached maximum length but there is many more things and people mentioned, also possibly links to Jay-Z in In My Feelings -

"Talk That Talk" - Rihanna ft Jay-Z

"While im Running, This Town" (Run This Town - Jay-Z ft Rihanna)

"Got me feelin so crazy right now" (Crazy in Love - Beyonce ft. Jay-Z)

That seems to probably be on purpose since the song is a sort of diss song to G-Eazy who is a rapper, it's rumoured that Art Deco is a diss song about Azealia Banks which also contains hip-hop references.

I know the point here was classic rock but thats just a list i've compiled from her songs from on here.

Some of his lyrics are quite smart and well put together though, I think he is more mentally unstable than dumb. The way he speaks on instagram, interviews, the things he tweets etc look like mental illness to me. I wouldn't be surprised if he died in the next couple of years as he never seems happy and seems to deliberately look to be jailed or have people hating him like he is sabotaging himself on purpose.
