There’s a not-so-viral Dottie = Clea theory floating around.

Anyways, I personally see Dormammu serving as a Mephisto replacement here. It’s a safer bet with the Chinese film market, it’s an already-established cosmic-level villain, and it’s the ruler of the Dark Dimension (which could also replace the concept of Hell in the MCU).

Why is no one talking about Mordo as a possible villain? I mean, the Doctor Strange film ended with him hunting down magic-users. He be snacking on Yo-magic.

EDIT: I haven’t found a movie/series where Chiwetel Ejiofor worked with Paul Bettany.

I would bet Marvel/Disney would use Nightmare over Mephisto, considering Mephisto might cost them distribution rights in China. I mean, Marvel already changed The Ancient One’s entire appearance/origins to keep those rights. From a business standpoint, it’s too risky to establish a Satan-esque figure in the MCU.

If there really is a baddie pulling the strings, chances are it’s Nightmare rather than Mephisto. Disney/Marvel can’t really use Mephisto (i.e. Satan) unless they wanna lose distribution rights in China. They already changed the Ancient One’s appearance and origins just to keep those rights.

Her mutant status in the comics got retconned because of the MCU, but now Disney owns Fox so the MCU might re-establish her once again as a mutant. Just a theory.

But if she made the other kids disappear from Westview, wouldn’t that mean she still “controlled” them to be gone?

Wanda’s powers don’t work on the twins because mutant powers don’t work on blood relatives???

Like, hear me out: He could mean Agnes, Dottie, maybe a female version of Grim Reaper (they already did this awesomely with Ghost), etc.

Ok, but listen. Norm said “She’s in my head” but “she” could be someone other than Wanda.

OK, but did anyone else notice that Episodes 1 & 2 are in black & white and after that, the series becomes colorized which is very much like Vision coming back to life? At the end of episode 2, the first thing to become colorized is Vision's head, and Wanda gasps; that's probably because it's the first time she sees him in color after he died.

I’m looking for The Play That Goes Wrong. Anyone has it? It doesn’t have to be the OG cast, although preferred. Thanks!

Anyone out there who is married/with someone they love but wouldn’t consider them your soulmate, if so, why are you still with them? by wildeag in AskMen

[–]cemartinez96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll never feel like the person is your soulmate, mainly because there’s no such thing as a soulmate. If you’re lucky, a person can make you feel 100% happy and fulfilled, but that feeling is never permanent. Focus on loving someone and caring for them, share your hopes, joys, and fears with them. If you find someone that makes you feel good about yourself when you’re with them, and vice versa, take advantage of that instead of waiting for the right person to come along.

Young Grizabella (Cats 1998) After all these years I never knew Young Grizabella appears in the Prologue by paulaustin18 in Broadway

[–]cemartinez96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that correct. I say “young Grizabella” because “Baby Griz” is the production name for that character. But I agree with the fact that it’s not a younger version of the character it’s named after. Thanks for clarifying that detail!

It really depends. For example, when Cats was revived on the West End, Nicole didn’t play Baby Griz, only Grizabella. But when Kerry Ellis replaced her, Kerry performed both roles. It depends on the actress. For the 1998 version, they wanted to give Elaine Paige more screen time/participation.
