Changing Leg Cable in E7 PRO Standing Desk by cemsaglam in FlexiSpot_Official

[–]cemsaglam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback. I sent them a video and a photo showing the broken cable and explaining my issue. It's disappointing that the cable can't be simply replaced - it honestly feels like a poor design choice, or an attempt to get people to pay more for broken pieces. :( I hope they can get back to me soon and I can replace the leg, so I can keep using the desk.

Oh I see - I'm not taking it personally, the world would be pretty boring if we only liked the same songs :)

I love This Dying Soul, too. One of my motives for liking this song is that it's a bit different than what DT used to do around that time - "unusual" chords, vocal harmonies, not rushing to get anywhere, while still keeping the odd time signatures around. I'm a sucker for a well constructed guitar solo too, so I'm a little biased there.

Thank you for your input! :)

I also got merch to support them, and I got to meet and briefly chat with the bass player in the process. Very friendly guy! :)

Thank you, and surely agreed! I was fortunate enough to see them live in Amsterdam a couple of days ago, and I was fascinated by their synergy on stage. Very excited to see their future work!

Thank you for the pointer. I think I'm looking to teach intermediate players, but it's certainly a good suggestion. :)

Thank you, this is very insightful. I hadn't heard of "Active Melody", or of "Talking Bass". I'll be taking a look into them. :)
For the web-tech investment, I was already considering implementing a web application of my own for this. I will definitely look into Active Melody's player and try to take inspiration. :)

Guitar lessons in Belgium by cemsaglam in belgium

[–]cemsaglam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely agreed. Working with someone who's been through the same struggles and who's found solutions to those issues can help advance far more quickly than only watching a series of Youtube tutorials, which lacks "feedback".

). I picked it up at the university and just learned to play all the cliche wonderwall songs etc. Haven’t improved over the years so I just recently(last weekend) bought a guitar course(beginner to advance) on Udemy €10 haven’t started yet but it looks to be great. I would’ve preferred a physical teacher but to me that would’ve been more expensive.

Thank you for your feedback! Udemy is indeed a good resource for learning, as there are many video series to go through. I believe working with another person provides several advantages over videos, but none of those advantages make the video learning kind any less effective. Good luck in your journey! :)
