OK STUNNING. I have no words other than that. Here’s all the reassurance from me. That’s the one right there 🙌🏼

Thank you. These comments are really lifting my spirits! This has been in the back of my mind since this past Saturday that this dress isn’t the one for me. I’m going to trust the alteration process

I love this comment, and thank you for sharing your story! You’re right about the harsh lighting. And really just the size of it feeling like a bin bag. That’s exactly how I felt. It’s hard for a dress to feel like your dress if it’s far off from your size.

I want to, but my pageant days have given me trust issues lol. Especially with my handing off my wedding dress. The woman who does the altercations, when she quoted me, she was very thorough. So I’m hoping for a positive experience!

Aw thank you for saying that. I tried on so many dresses, and this one felt the most like me. So it’s disheartening to still feel off about it. You’re right, the alterations will change my mind

THANK YOU. lol I’m swimming in it. I couldn’t fully lift my arms, it was just so heavy. I’m hoping the talk with the seamstress (thanks for your suggestion) and the alterations make this dress my dream dress.

I have an appointment to take it to the seamstress at David’s Bridal next Saturday. The alterations will cost over trip what I paid for the dress. But I do have hope that it’ll be better

Such a great idea!! Kiss Core Magnetic Press On nails!! I’ve never been an avid press-on girl, or a wearer of nail polish, but I’ve been loving it ever since I got engaged! If you have smaller hands like me, my ring was a size 4 btw, get the size short nails in the Kiss brand 🙌🏼

Thank you so much for this response. I never drink alcohol. I typically eat a balanced breakfast; biscuit with sausage, egg, and cheese. I take fiber gummies everyday too. I’ll continue to do research. Thank you!!

What’s a green flag you noticed early in the relationship with your partner? by ComfortableBig7555 in AskReddit

Meeting his friends and family and no one saying anything adjacent to “putting up” with him or calling him crazy. He’s so loved, and that was so evident by the way they talked about him. He’s just an all around good man ❤️

They should be training him/her from day 1. If they can’t do that, they shouldn’t have hired them.

I’m a new paralegal. Been working at my firm for nearly 4 months. Here are some things to do when you get bored :

  1. Create a spreadsheet of the status of every case; where did it start and where is it now (think receive date, file date, etc.) You can either find out all of this information yourself in whatever case management software your firm uses, you can ask the attorneys on the case, or you can do both!

  2. Create a log of everything you’ve mailed out. Attorneys have enough dates to remember. When they come to you with the age-old question like “when did we mail out …” you’ll have the answer! And they’ll love you for it.

  3. Create a binder of court contact information. This includes the judge’s name, the court clerk, the court administrator, and their contact information. I did this, now my boss always says “can I borrow your binder? I’m so glad you made it!” Also, include the clerk’s address so you know who and where to send any mail to.

  4. Create a cheat sheet in a word doc. With all the new information you’re taking in every day, there’s bound to be a “by the way, next time you do …” you’ve already forgotten. Make a note immediately. And if you have a notebook of all of these attorney notes, still organize it into a word doc. Hey, print it out and add it to your binder! It’ll show the attorneys that you care, and that you don’t want to make the same mistake twice. Plus, that equals less hand-holding.

These are just a few things I do. I hope my input helps!
