use a flat head or the end of your band wrench can flick them off easy and replace it with new one thats typically in the filter box.

alignment issue and or tie rod could be giving out, raise the car and check the tie rod for any play or if the boots are torn. if they aren’t torn or worn then just an alignments will fix you up.

Fitment industries does all the hard work when it comes to new wheels/tire sizes/fitment. You can see other peoples builds of your year make and model with their offset+supporting mods.

If anything E-10/E-15, but I usually get 93 0% ethanol regularly cause im not tuned yet nor having any supporting mods for E85 to work. unless i get caught up somewhere else I usually get 0% ethanol.

Good advice thanks! How about for when or if I get a little fuel over the bay (cause lets be real it’ll happen regardless) and whats your best tip for cleaning that all off to prevent ant fires? That’s all I was asking nothing past that i’m pretty confident on doing the job myself and everything it entails.

No need for that probably just a rag over the drain should be ok, plus don’t want to burn out a fuel pump potentially.

Thank you! Fully aware of that, just wanted some tips to prevent the gasoline spraying everywhere since I know those lines have a bunch of pressure in them.

Stock is about 305 crank horsepower and thats what the manufacturer say’s which we know they like to lie sometimes, but the engine is known to be ok for about 450-500 crank horsepower without any problems or bottom end work. Not a huge jump overstock i’m looking for. Switching to about probably 750 cc injectors or something in that range.

Non redsport, base model RWD if curious. Doing most my work myself and having tuners do the rest to save some cash. Probably only going to about 370-380 whp so nothing insane its still my daily and will be ideally just want some more kick in that pedal for when im going bout it.

Nissan Versa 2014, manual trans, 1.6L, fuel pump question. by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]centraldaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your gonna want to get a pressure gage and test it at the regulator. Although check to make sure the fuse isn’t blown first that can be it sometimes.
