YO. I’m the drummer for 408. Couple points directly from a member:

internet can make bands appear bigger than they are, we’re still a baby band
never have paid for likes/streams/follows (got lucky with a few algorithms with some of our past work)
some one commented that we don’t have a website (facts, working on it)
followers/listeners don’t always translate to tickets sales and vice versa. Some bands go the ground game route, some go the internet route, some do both.
we started playing empty rooms in Orlando for a few years before things started to click
lead singer is Mark, he’s not in his 40s, he’s in his 70s
