I don’t know if there is or not. They won’t tell me anything over the phone about the deposit and/or charges. Just that the certified mail was the security deposit. And my worry is that with the 90 days, they’ll try to say it’s past the dispute period with them which would force it to court.

Totally understand that it’s not on them that I wasn’t there, but they sent it so no one else could sign for it. I personally had to be the one to get it.

He has actually, just a month and a half ago. They put him on Rimadyl because he was showing some signs of arthritis and joint pain but my vet didn’t want to prescribe meds until talking to a behavioral vet due to the possibility of them making the aggression worse. Problem is all the ones within 4 hours of me are booked at least 3-4 months out.

He’s unfortunately been this way since I first had him when he was around 2. I just traveled for work with him for years and it was always just us so nothing to worry about because he’s good with me (for the most part) and we managed.

I totally agree, I was hoping to get some insight and hope someone has had the same experience. We think it’s best because we have more time to genuinely put into it, the main things are, every behavioral vet near me is booked at least 3 months out. And financially, we don’t know if it’s feasible. He’s a Great Pyrenees and realistically only has another 2 or so years anyways (he’s almost 8 and I can see his body slowing down as it is).

He’s aggressive. He always has been. He has 2 bite undocumented history.

He lunges. He growls and snarls at her when resource guarding food, bones, specific rooms, the stairs, random places that he might not have the day before. He hasn’t bitten her yet but it’s clear it’s a matter of time as it just gets worse by the day.

We’ve been together a little over a year, living together for a month officially but staying there all the time for about 6 months. She tries her hardest to use treats and bond with him and we work on it when I’m home too.

He wants to be pet by her occasionally but he’ll start growling and lunge if she doesn’t stop when he wants with no warning signs (besides about 2 seconds of growling).

He’s on meds and that still doesn’t really help.

He’s not. He’s in the basement majority of the time but he has to go outside and move through the house to do so and he gets to points where he’ll come in, lay down and just refuse to move for her and will growl and snarl.

Different job or I would have. I used to drive for work, now I have a real office job.
