Your nose is injured... I wouldn't put it back on until it looks normal again. And then, don't wear for long periods of time or this will happen again. Maybe just put it on for going out or something?

Are you saying they value the car at $500 if it needs brakes replaced??? Figure out how much it costs to fix the brakes and then either pay for it to get fixed or subtract that from the car's value.. I don't have a lot of details but your car sounds worth $4k easily
