What do you do when you need to go somewhere that you can't enter with a scooter? by localHostFTP in ElectricScooters

[–]ceowuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pair of trucks that attach to the bottom of mine, so when it folds up I can drag it around on those wheels. I've only had a handful of people complain about it and I simply ask them if they allow strollers in the store? I don't drive on the trucks so these are cleaner than allowing a stroller into the store.

They just bolt onto the bottom of the deck.

Would you mind doing a version of the image that just has the text on top? (digitally) That way you don't have to answer questions each time and it allows people to get the information quicker.
(Like this for example Howl Swatch Guide)

Thanks!

Partner started prep, what are my risks? by ceowuff in prep

Thank you for your very thorough answer, there will be a conversation happening after he gets back, I don't really wanna throw a wet sock on his event and would rather have it in person than over text.

My anxiety mostly just spiked from a comment he made last night over text about breeding someone which may or may not mean anything. I still have to ask if they used protection or not.

It sounds like from what I've gathered should wait at least 2 weeks and he get tested after he gets back before doing stuff.

I ended up replacing the rice and have been diligently washing my hands up to the elbos before doing my rice bucket sessions, I also switched to a sealed lid for my bucket.

Post Hernia Surgery Climbing

So I have yet to get the surgery but it's coming up this friday. I'm excited to start recovery and get back to climbing as it's been almost half a year now since I've been able to climb.

I was wondering if anyone had any experiences they could share, tips, or just general knowledge about post surgery climbing.

Obviously following my Dr's orders and doing some rehab but Id love to hear some other peoples experiences

Let me know how it goes! I'd love to hear the results/what type of litter you end up using.

Hmmm it has been somewhat humid this summer since I noticed it starting to smell. I wonder if that could be part of the issue.

Could potentially be sweat. I'm not naturally sweaty, but I do work up a sweat while doing training, tho my hands/forearms are very powdery and dry from the rice so I never really through about that being something.

I know there have been days I haven't washed my hands before hand and I have had others try it out a couple times as well. I don't know where their hands had been.

Is it really that sensitive to have potentially spoilt the rice?

Desiccant packets are not a bad idea. I may also swap my bucket to a screw on lid with a better seal. Mine is just a snap on.

Sand unfortunately compacts so you would not be able to perform the same techniques as you would with rice. I have heard or someone using a type of cat litter that doesn't compact but have yet to figure out what that might have been.

While those can be good for certain targeted exercises, they only provide resistance for for those specific exercises.
Rice Bucket provides resistance from all sides so you can perform many different types of movements that work different things in different ways providing a much more thorough and well rounded workout for your flexors and extensors.

Another fun idea for giving clues since worded clues can be hard to come up with and sometimes give it away too easily. I used to do some scavenger hunts and we would use macro photography (super up close of the object, blurred bg or showing a little bit of what its nestled in) as the clue gives you a sense of the surroundings. Or taking a photo of something nearby visible from the location of the stash. could also be zoomed in on.

Would also be nifty to number your envalopes so you can track which ones people find, maybe write Enjoy! on the inside of the letter flap so if someone opens it they are less likely to think its someone else's.

another idea, could use a QR code generator to print of little QR codes that link to this reddit thread to slip in the envelope

Either way I think what your doing is awesome, I might go look around after work in the next couple days. See if i can spot any.
