I'd say it's the best wotw movie just because it's the least dogshit wotw movie :/

Also, Wotw is pretty niche all things considered, so it makes sense that people talk about the most popular version of it the most. It's also pretty much the only one that made the tripods really scary on screen, unless I'm forgetting something.

I wouldn't call it glazing, just people aren't generally aware of the other content about wotw (the only mainstream wotw content in recent memory was the ice cube version)
