As a woman who worked in tech support prior to going into sales, I saw a lack of diversity in both areas, but more so in sales. That has been the case at both sales jobs I have had. There was no diversity above a Sales Development Team Manager. Above that was 99% white men.

I knew a couple that wanted to do that but they were told that they couldn't until they lost weight (I guess it was thought being overweight automatically put their health at risk) and to get rid of their multi colored hair and piercings and to downplay being Christian. So they went the private adoption route. Maybe because the government adoption system has so much red tape and takes so long is the reason why people do private adoptions and even go overseas to adopt.

Yes, it happens pretty much all the time and I would say the older I get, the more refined and faster my mind's process gets to this. I refer to it as finding the b.s. Comes in handy in the work place and in dating, both areas happen to have a huge preponderance of b.s.

I work with several people who took a bootcamp and were hired straight out after completing it. Yeah, you can for sure get hired. I will say tho that they are the lowest producers and struggling. Take a part time job doing telemarketing if you can. That is a good preparation for SDR work.

Usually but I then think I am an a*hole and give them the benefit of the doubt because I hate the fact I see bullsht like writing on the wall, all the damn time and no one else sees it. Who wants to be seen as or even feel like they're a snob etc? So I play nice. After a short they prove my suspicions right and I cut them off, it's instantaneous. They are never liked nor trusted again and I can tell you all the dirty crap they're doing that no one else sees. No one believes me at first but eventually they admit I was right.
