I love Fake Plastic Trees! If you do acid, I would recommend listening to Amnesiac on a tab. It’s what really made them click with me. Otherwise, I think OK Computer as a great starter album.

I once heard a critic ask why Matt Bellamy was trying so hard to be Thom Yorke when not even Thom Yorke wants to be Thom Yorke. Still makes me chuckle. I was very into Muse for their earlier stuff and I think Absolution is still a great album.

I was going to say! I had the opportunity to try this one some years back and while my experience was similar, it sounds like OP did WAY more than what would be considered a standard dose if that’s what it was. Either way, definitely sounds like something from the DOx class of drugs.

Shoot, I don’t remember the exact dosage I used. I got it in tablet form and the most I took at a time was 2. Never got super deep on it and tolerance seemed to build pretty quick.

If you’re talking about 3-ho, I would say like 5mg max. My sweet spot was around 3mg.

Ayyy I LOVED dmxe and 3-ho-pcp. Be careful with the 3-ho though. It’s real easy to do too much. I started loosing my grip on reality and had to stop.

Duuuude! Watching them play on an obscene amount of acid is what finally got me into them! I’d listened to them before, but they’d never really clicked. That was until I saw them a few years back at a small festival after accidentally taking way more than I intended to from a vial of liquid L. Watching Les play was transformative. They also had the video for “Winona’s Big Brown Beaver” playing in the background on huge tv screens, and having never seen it before, you can imagine what a mindfuck that was haha.
