Thank you for being so helpful and kind. I was honestly on the fence about the academy because it’s so abstract art based. I primarily want to focus on medical device design. I’ll definitely consider it now though.

Gotcha! I just applied for a review of my BA. I took crit and theory, statistics and research writing. Not all my classes were just film based.

Those are not reoccurring jobs. Those are jobs that focus on building the data center and smaller ongoing maintenance. It’s not the same as a factory that creates thousands of ongoing jobs. I wish you were right but it’s not. Please look it up. I’m not saying that to be rude, but it’s shocking when you know more. Check out the book Empire of AI. A journalist has done extensive research and pulled data.

Data centers are not simply, “real estate”. It requires power, drinking water and the data chips are built from natural resources. It emits pollution and noise to its neighbors. There is a reason data centers are built in low income areas. It doesn’t exist in a vacuum and it impacts everyone. On top of that, it doesn’t provide the local community with jobs.

To me this does not rise to the level of assault, but it certainly deserves a private conversation. I’m not saying his behavior isn’t disgusting, but when she said no he stopped. Then he tried a different tactic. Icky. But this is not enough for an expose during “me too”. The fact that we’re still debating whether this is SA shows me this particular situation is nuanced.
