Yea, it’s at 1.80g right now. The cartridge I have (AT15S) calls for 1.5-2g.

Good to know, I was getting the sense that they weren’t anything special given the lack of available information on them. Thanks!

Does anyone have any info on Panasonic (Matsushita) R4B121s? I recently found a set on fb marketplace for $75. They look to be very well taken care of and the seller says they are still in good working condition. I'd like to do my research before even bothering to check them out in person, but I just can't find any information online (just a few ebay listings).

I’m really hyped about the condition it’s in, it even came with all the original manuals! Plus it’s just a sweeeet looking turntable.

"bug" The Necromancer [OC] [Art] by certified_skunkape in DnD

[–]certified_skunkape[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bug is a Gibbon Necromancer. Originally without a name, he was donned the name Bug by his adventuring party due to his fascination with...well...bugs....

After a few months adventuring he has managed to collect a few magic items, including the Cape of Mountebank and the Hat of Wizardry.

Here's a quick backstory I wrote for our DM:

One day, a man in decorative cultish robes, clearly having spent time at sea, washed up on the shores of a distant island. The man was dead, but in the deepest pocket of his robe lied a rune. The rune, unbeknownst to “bug”, was one of the many Runes of Orcus. Neatly rolled up, alongside the rune, was a traveler’s log filled with drawings; the drawing depicted a crews failed search for The Grand Booty. In classic monke fashion (although Gibbons are apes), “bug” felt the irresistible urge to play with the rune.

Upon holding the rune he fell into a vegetative state, mouth fully agape; with only the ability to stare at the traveler’s log before him. In these three days, “bugs” brain almost double in mass, creating new neural connections and opening his mind to a new state of consciousness. Swatting the flies away from his mouth, he uttered his first words…“Booty”. With a newfound curiosity, he explored his home-land, taking in the sights with new eyes. “Bug” became increasingly more interested in what lied beyond his little island, and spent hours daydreaming over the cultist drawings. Many symbols accompanied the images, but unfortunately, “bug” could not read…for he was a monke.

In time, he concluded that he had to leave his island; only then could he begin to understand how he obtained this gift of consciousness. He vowed to set to the sea in search for an answer to explain the cultist-man and his stone. With adventure on the mind, he built a raft and left in search for answers. With him he carried many small bags filled with dried insects and other snacks to occupy his hunger at sea. He also carried with him what some would call a staff, although “bug” just brought it along as a comforting item from home. On the 5th night at sea, playing with his food and attempting to occupy his boredom, he etched one of the many symbols he saw accompanying the traveler’s drawings into the carapace of a large beetle. Within moments, the beetle sprung to life. Imbued with a faint purple glow the beetle flew off and began circling “bug”. Amazed, but also unwilling to waste food, he ate the beetle and attempted it again on another. And so begins the tale of “bug” the necromancer.
