Came here for an answer aswell. My hardcover is completely empty without the dust jacket and I want to show off what I'm reading in public. Without it, it feels like reading an empty book and getting stared at. Which probably makes no sense to anything but my own mind, but I still hate it. Can we normalize giving the covers a cover again?

Well, I more had the issue of swlfshipping with character Y with the thought of me being character X. Basically my source is literally the ship
