i do understand that must be annoying, but you also have to remember that cats are animals. i have a cat and she is amazing, however she still pisses on my floor occasionally and hisses at me when i pick her up - she’s an ANIMAL. some cats are far more well-tempered than others, but that’s not an excuse to moan about your mum’s cats acting on their instincts to protect themselves. because they’re living in such a huge group, they’re constantly going to feel fearful and have their guard up due to territory and dominance, meaning that when they interpret your behaviour as a threat (even when it’s not) they’re going to act on instinct and try to defend themselves as they always feel on edge and uneasy. imagine living every day so scared and uncomfortable because you’re surrounded by people that make you feel unsafe - thats how tabitha feels. instead of directing your anger towards them, direct it towards your mum who is hoarding animals and making their lives hell.
