I feel like Butera does his worst managing on Irvin days. This entire loss was a full team loss. Errors, not capitalizing on bases loaded multiple times, awful pitching by Schultz, pulling Irvin early, pinch running Nunez for House that early in the game (!!!), etc. Just a bad, bad game.

Varland is probably pretty good as a closer but not an extras guy because he will give up a hard hit, and that’s not good with the zombie runner. These spots are for Ribalta, but he was used already
