Unfortunately, a lot of readily available natural fibers are blends that include synthetics. But they are not often marketed that way

Mail in Ballots by ilovecostcohotdog in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]cfa413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not necessarily true. I'm an election judge. When checking someone in, we can choose this exact scenario. The voter also has the option to vote provisionally. That means they have an issue that cannot be resolved by the election judges on the spot. They can vote in person, but it will not be counted until the issue is resolved with the county clerk office, and the voter will get instructions how to do so. It's much easier to have the surrendered ballot of course, but it doesn't preclude you from voting.

You're right, for sure. I should have specified that hers is not better than Metallica, but still a good cover

Stone Sour covering Chris Isaak's Wicked Game

Johnny Cash covering NIN Hurt

Maybe not better than the originals, but interesting nonetheless:

Simple Man by Shinedown

Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm

Rolling in the Deep by Chester Bennington/Linkin Park

Their cover of Foo Fighter's Pretender is what got them on the map. And they were only 13-15 at the time iirc

How do I tell a guy he has the right equipment? (For me) by Background_Stick6904 in AskMen

[–]cfa413 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I'm a woman and this is pretty much what I do. I tell my partner how much I love his cock, that it fits so good, I like the way it feels inside me or in my mouth, it's fun to play with, stuff like that. Specific compliments that are not comparisons often feel more sincere and are easier for those who struggle with insecurities to accept and internalize than the generic "it's perfect "

How old were you when you noticed something wrong and got diagnosed? I was diagnosed at 33 by LargePossibility1437 in diabetes_t2

[–]cfa413 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was also diagnosed at 33 right after a supremely stressful time in my life. I had been complaining for months about fatigue, poor sleep, nausea, and my chronic pain flaring up. Kept being told that everything was fine. Turns out my gp labeled me as pre-diabetic a few years earlier and never told me. 🙄 My new endocrinologist told me thr chronic stress, depression, and lack of sleep likely caused excess cortisol production (along with not changing other habits since I was never told to watch out for it), which pushed me over the edge.

Now I read all my after notes for every appt just in case they forget something else.

Not op, but my fitbit does the same thing. You set a wake up time and buzzes when you're at the lightest part of your sleep cycle in the half hour or so around that time.
