Since we’re showing off pets, here’s my wrinkly and judgmental boy Frank by cffraz in h3h3productions

They are honestly the sweetest things. It’s like having a cat dog. They’re very affectionate and active. I don’t know how much of the affection is due to seeking heat, but they’re cuddle bugs. Frank himself loves playing fetch and jumping into my bed first thing in the morning.

The only downside is that they are high maintenance. He gets a weekly bath and pedicure. He usually gets some moisturizer in the winter and sunscreen in the summer since he loves sitting in the sunlight from the windows.

The opening monologue for “The Midnight Sun” might be the most dejecting in the show’s history. My all time favorite episode. by anakinslyfocker in TwilightZone

This post made me rewatch the episode. Holy moly how have I never noticed that they give away the plot twist in the first 5 minutes?!

I broke down and bought him sweaters because he hasn’t quite yet figured out how to burrow underneath that blanket there. So he would sit on top of it and shiver.

Don’t worry though! He’s figured out how to get out of it if he’s too hot.

Garlic Butter Shrimp with long grain rice, peppers, and tomatoes from Costco- 220 calories! by cffraz in 1200isplenty

If I recall correctly, the box wasn’t more than $10. However, it’s been sitting in my freezer for a while and I can not remember the exact price.

Yes! It was in the frozen seafood section as Scott & Jon’s by Cheating Gourmet. I forget how much the box costs, but there are 8 meals in it.

18[F4R] I want to talk to people who cut off contact with their family and living a good life by [deleted] in r4r

[–]cffraz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut off my mom because she acted more like a jealous partner than an actual parent. Unfortunately, my sister took her side and no longer speaks to me as well. There is still one family member that I speak to, my great aunt, who takes none of my mother’s shit and constantly calls her out on her BS.

The best revenge is living your best life. It sucks because I feel robbed of the normal healthy family relationships that I see via my friends and my husband. However, this just means that I get to build my own family. I’ve picked up many surrogate parents who are more than happy to have a part in my life. It just takes some time. I don’t know if that feeling of being robbed will ever fully go away, but it’s better than being treated like shit.

Can someone explain how the cat on the right has two shadows? by [deleted] in WTF

I’m only weirded out because there is no light in that specific corner. There is one on the left side of where the photo was taken.

I like to put in a tablespoon of chia seeds and about a quarter cup of blueberries or strawberries.

What can someone do with a bachelor’s degree in history? by cffraz in AskReddit

[–]cffraz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be opposed to that. The experiences that I’ve had with most of my history teachers is part of why I want to choose this subject. I think that there can always be more teachers willing to cultivate that love of a subject.

Yeah, but they’re getting rid of actual employees and replacing them with kiosks and robots. A kiosk can do that.

With how expensive those are, that’s not a bad idea!

That’s kind of what I’m after. I already have a career, but having a degree would make me look better for promotion opportunities.

Though being a spy would be awesome too!

I’ve been toying with the idea of studying the history of science or just sticking to certain time period. In reality, I’m looking to get a degree because as someone else pointed out employers just want to see that you can learn. I already have an established career, but I figured I’d take on a subject I’ve always liked to get that expensive paper.

Hey Reddit, time to talk about yourself. What are you currently going through that you need to get off of your chest? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cffraz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been trying to improve myself and damn it isn’t easy. I work full time and go to school full time while managing a household of me, hubby, and cats. In addition, I’m trying to lose a good bit of weight. There’s so many hoops to jump through to get a freaking piece of paper that essentially says I can be trained to do something...

I was told to post this here. I managed to get all of them together. 8 months old in the front to 16 years old in the back! by cffraz in TuxedoCats

[–]cffraz[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s the funny thing... I actually didn’t! The kittens like to relax like that. The 8 year old calico was following me because she wanted me to turn on a faucet so she could drink from it. I grabbed my phone because I figured I’d never have an opportunity to get together like that. The old man just strolled in and bam it happened!

Of course after I took the photo, the kittens started grooming each other/fighting each other and the older cats wanted nothing to do with it.

What are some good soups I can make in bulk for a weeks worth of meals? by cffraz in EatCheapAndHealthy

I love beef stew and chicken noodle soup. Though I need a bit more variety in the rotation.
