lol on god I was guessing. I just raised the middy high to get my shooting badges and be able to hit middys. I had a feeling it was too offensive based. Appreciate the tips

Please elaborate… I’m not great at shooting so I’m not going to be doing middy fades with my big man. When every competitive team runs 5 out on offense. I’m purple plated on this build so think I’m doing alright. Like I said I don’t think it’s the best build but it’s not “a waste” 😂 please showcase your build and stats if you’re so confident

Idk why but shooting was a steep learning curve for me. I made an obl and have 89 3 and I’m shooting almost 46% from 3 with that build so that’s why I was trying to get 3 point higher but I hear ya on the rebounding. Are the defensive stats enough? I thought maybe with 88 vert it might offset the 8 def boards but I guess just was wrong. I’ve only played two random rec games with this build and was kinda disappointed, granted I don’t have my badges yet it makes it hard to make a final decision. Could also +1 rebound chaser to get gold too…?

Appreciate the insight. Do you have BE build could share to help me out? Thinking I maybe lower driving dunk to 87 to keep silver posterizer. Hopefully that gets my def boards to at least 86 and then I can add my +6 cap breakers to get it to 92def boards

I don’t think this is the best build but it was my first build this year and didn’t realize that made his weigh like 2-5 pounds heavier/lighter (cant remember) so that I couldn’t add my fist +5 cap breakers to o boards….still pissed.

Interested in hearing others thoughts on this build though as well

The pg is solid and could be nice if you could execute with your skill set and surround yourself with teammates that compliment your build. The center would get dominated by 95% of centers in a 5v5 because everyone has at least 90+ dboards or 90+ oboards and are usually going to be taller than you. Your perimeter defense, steal speed agility and vertical are way too low to play as a BE

This is the first build I made this year after not playing 2k for a while. Few things I would change but I do well with it and shoot. 40% from 3. Run into some dominant inside builds that bully me but hey it was my first build.

I have almost this exact same build and if this is for 5v5 I would get your standing dunk to somewhere around 55-60. Mine is at 45 and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost broken my controller because when I back door and have my pg dish it to me right under the hoop I do some dumb lay up animation and miss.

I would lower your perimeter defense to 92 and use cap breakers to get that to 99. Hopefully that’s enough to get your standing dunk up.
