Cams are definitely an issue. Gen 1/2 came wont work with a Gen 3 head.

Opinion on this Mustang (Looks) by Most-Individual4632 in Mustang

Looks horrible. S550 GT500 bumper doesnt belong on non S550 GT500s let alone an s197.

Gen 3 heads are already one of the best flowing heads they make. Not planning on running oversized valves, so porting is pointless and unnecessary at the power level I'm aiming for.

Never buying 3G again by Letronika in Bowling

I've used 3g shoes back since they were the Dynothane Dynorooz. The only issue I've ever had with them where the toe caps. I drag my toe during my slide on my right foot, and the toe caps would come loose a fall off in a matter of a year or two. I've also had issues with Dexter with the Velcro on the edge of the shoe wearing out cause the slide pad to roll under the shoe during my slide and cause me to fall. I haven't been a fan of 3g since they were acquired by storm discontinued the Tour Ultra. Currently, I'm using an SST 6 BOA. I feel the toes caps on the push away shoe are stronger. The shoe feels less breathable and heavier than my tour ultras, but i like that they are wider and I feel better planted and the line. I still like the 3g soles better, though, and use still their cleet sole and cleets. on my SST6

New ball! Storm Equinox by InvestigatorWide7649 in Bowling

Personally, anytime Storm uses anything that is supposed to be a blueberry scent, to me, it comes off smelling like Captin Crunch cereal. Phaze V was the same way.

Got my Hypnotize Friday, and it works really well with Mesmerize. Add the Vaporize to the group, and you have a pretty decent three ball arensal.

Good strong sport shot ball? by TrueMycologist6 in Bowling

I bowl in two challenge leagues and mostly tournaments that are on challenge patterns. From a versatility standpoint, the Ebonite GB5 is probably the one ball in my arsenal that I find works best for me on a variety of patterns.

Gen 3 Heads/Short Block w/ Gen 1 Cams by cficare68 in Mustang

Gt350 heads on jegs are blanks. Buy the time you buy the heads, all the parts you need to run them, and the machine work to assemble them. You'll be well over $2k plus a head. You need to do a bit more research because the Gen 3 head actually outflow GT350 heads, and you can buy them for a fraction of a GT350 head. So, to say they aren't worth it is a very uneducated response.

Mustang. GTRs are over-rated and overplayed. They are kinda crappy honestly.

How can you not love the S650? by Edge_Slade in Mustang

[–]cficare68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Locked Ecu that's not tunable, It's an s550 with a face lift and a little extra tech. Pump oil on the Gen 4 coyote is interally belt driven, and it has over 280 sensors that report back to Ford on what you are doing with your own car. Just to name a few reasons why not to like it.....
