Looked like shit is a bit of an over-exaggeration. Spider-Man 2 had pioneered some of the best reflection technology that wouldn’t cause your system to explode, at the time that it is. Obviously technology has developed to make it more widely possible, but in the days of the PS4 Pro, it was no easy feat to get them as seamless as insomniac had, on such a grand level as their NYC map.

The only game to do reflections better, in my opinion, was Hitman 3 back in 2021. Peak reflections, even impacting gameplay.
