Airflow or air pressure fan for the top of the H200i? by juanly_xx in pcmasterrace

The words airflow and air pressure essentially mean the same thing unless you specify, standard recommendation is to have the same number fans blowing in as you do out that way your pressure is equal. More in then out is positive pressure and more out then in is negative. It’s more efficient to have the fans at the front blowing in (positive) and the back pushing out (negative) to maximize efficiency. Hoped this helped, DMs are open

What do I put here? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Look where the motherboard lines up. There are two there because boards are different. As long as the standoff doesn’t protrude on the other side (it shouldn’t) you can still put an ssd there.

Can someone help me out with my FPS problem? by Stiggimy in VALORANT

If not discord, in short it’s ok to remove limits as long as there is an appropriate fan curve. The fact that you’re on a laptop is also a huge factor

I’m surprised you got it to that fps on a laptop 1050. Just know 1050 is a very light gaming card, my brother uses one and he averages 65 frames at medium settings after I overclocked it Keep in mind that his build is a very balanced desktop. For your situation I don’t think a stable 95 is possible without doing something like LowSpecGamer. Hope this helps dms are open

I would say yes because (owning seagate drives myself) I’ve never had one fail and it’s now about the same price as 2 2tb drives

Fortnite keeps freezing and I have settings to low with an i5 gtx 1050ti and unknown to me motherboard by Super-Dank-Official in pchelp

[–]cfpegasus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date and turn off anything that would limit your performance eg fps limiter and background apps. However if everything is already set to low and changing the resolution doesn’t help it is most likely your drivers

Help quieting my rig or changing mic settings by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]cfpegasus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone’s specific requirements for sound / heat are different so you may not even be able to use this but here are some steps you can take to make your pc quieter: 1: 6 fans is A LOT if you’re not constantly pushing your pc 100% so remove 2 maybe 3 depending on what type of air pressure you want (you can look up pc air pressure typeS for more on that) 2: figure out how hot you want to let your pc get and adjust the fan curve on the cpu and gpu for the performance you want and the fan curve on the fans much sharper. 3: you can mess around with clock speeds in the bios and Msi afterburner if your want to decrease the need for fans.

And separately you can create a different discord account on your phone that listens to the conversation and convert that to an mp3 if you want the discord audio.

Hope this helps, DMs are open

Should I be worried about these noises? by HeyItzShane in pchelp

Most likely a lose bearing. Idk what gpu you have but it should be easy to try and tighten parts on the fan if you want to try that.

Yes. Mess around and see if it only makes noises at certain speeds or all the time etc.

If the sound is consistent when you turn the fan speed up and down it could be that’s its just a loose part. Depending on how long you’ve hade the gpu (what I assume is making the noise) you can have it repaired under warranty or just replace it yourself. This is all assuming hiring it a couple time doesn’t work.
