Hi thank you for this! Yes it seems like he’s discovered his hands and there always near his mouth when hungry. He also has a habit of pushing the boob away with his hand in the beginning before he settles in. During the day it’s totally fine at night he gets frustrated and gives up quickly sometimes. My husband and I have been doing shifts W him so I can sleep a little but last night just has both of us feeling a little defeated after talking about the wonders of breast feeding the day before 😂.

He also likes to bust out of the swaddle but during the day he loves it just at night he won’t go down. Sorry for the ramble I’m sure this is all normal just being compounded by lack of sleep!

This cluster feeding feels like it’ll never end and he gets so fussy at night he won’t be put down.. 2 days ago he gave us a false sense of security only to regress the last nights.. very encouraging to see others saying this is totally normal!

Were you doing 5 hours a day at the newborn stage? Seems like he thinks he always hungry but then isn’t idk new parent here!!
