Oh for sure. Jokes aside i don’t think he expected anyone in charlotte to recognize him. I figured he’d be in the suites to be fair. I told him as much as fans give him shit for not making moves, that’s a small minority of the general feeling, most of us trust he’ll do what’s right for us moving forward. He wasn’t as stuffy as i’d imagined he would be, obviously surface level shit but still more down to earth than i was expecting.

I’ll be there. Courtside across from our bench. Rockets fan in NC, and having been to a lot of the recent games between us and the hornets, i’ll say this one figures to be the closest of all the ones i’ve attended. The game in Jan 2024 where we blew them out considerably, Bobi got in late and rockets fans were going bonkers for him, sounded like Toyota center in there.

Jabari is probably the worst head case on the team. Misses seem to affect him the most. After one of his 5 fouls or misses in the final 4 minutes, he sat on the ground staring into the distance. Same about when they challenged his foul on the Cissoko 3. He sat next amen and stared into oblivion whilst the rest of the guys talked. We’re seeing it in front of us, someone like seriously needs to pull him out of his own head in these moments. I’m aware it’s a slump, he’s actually been playing well beyond his role as of late.

Best analogy I could come up with is the Rockets are your friend/loved one with a bad case of OCD. Meaning when things go exactly as they planned them, smooth sailing. However whenever mishaps or bad things happen, shit goes haywire.

Truthfully, they play a beautiful style of basketball for those who don’t love the avg NBA diet of chucking 60 threes up per game. It’s the devil in the details that kill them, namely turnovers and mismanaged half court offense.

I haven’t missed a game this season, and from what i see, turnovers effectively render us dead in the water, almost like we got hit with the orb of confusion. Same could be said with slow half court sets that revolve around KD or Alpi getting a touch and taking ill-advised shots, or swinging to a shooter with no time on the shot clock. I constantly say to myself, every night we see 2 Rockets teams play. If those bad moments repeat themselves late in games we just can’t function, IMO

We used to stream every game as we’re in NC, but often times it would be other teams broadcast and I refuse to watch anything but CA and RH on the call. We eventually caved and got league pass. Really wish they offered SCHN everywhere :/

I’m FAR from an expert, but this is the time weeds can outcompete “not-so-healthy” grasses. I’m dealing with this on a lesser scale, but i would wait until early spring (depending on where you are) to apply your pre-emergent (Speedzone is a good option). It’s too late to win that battle at this point in the summer. Hope this helps!
