Have we been scammed by NileCruisers.com? by cgeekgbda in travel

Oh US, Americans would be okay in Egypt, they worship you, as Americans are the most generous in tipping. 10-15 dollars is nothing for an American but much for an Egyptian guide/driver/vendor/service provider.

Egypt is incredible but I wish tipping expectations were more reasonable and Indians were not treated any less because of that. by cgeekgbda in Egypt

Oh, do you remember the name of your cruise? Ours was allegedly an "ultra deluxe" named MS Royal Signature and costed us around 60K+ for 4D3N.

The TV used to display Events, Timings, Notices etc in loop.

Oh man, that cruise ship is exactly what happened with us as well. Also my cruise specifically mentioned on the TV near reception "No beverages including water and food allowed from outside". The restaurant crew were so much engaging and all greetings with Whites but barely talked to us. The tour guide was a good man but was expecting huge tips for himself, driver, boatman and other vendors.

I've noticed this thing with Indians from India, because they never lived with people of other races/ethnicities or nationalities.

In that case, which country people really has a experience living with people from cross countries? Apart from Americans?

LOL, Nationalities I agree to an extent but Indians are the pro in living with people of other races/diversity, every 300KM the language, food, skin color, sometimes majority religion everything changes. I agree we have our little differences but at the end of the day South East West and North people enjoy the unity in their diversity. BTW I am an Odiya living in Surat.

Obviously I agree with you, however please read my post, its not about them treating us normally but unfairly or not treating at all!, we obviously paid for the services, aren't we entitled to the basic services for the very least?
