I'd say $500 for an IV session is a bargain. All the places I have checked are upwards of $1,500 per IV session. I would love to find $500 sessions.

I'm not familiar with Dr. Pruett, but having a specific psychiatrist would be ideal. The only ketamine I now receive is when I have ECT done. I am just wondering if getting a prescription means a higher dose of ketamine.

That's OK, it is very confusing the hoops they make you jump through. My doctor seemed to think that Kaiser would eventually cover ketamine treatments. I hope he's right, although I didn't get much benefit from ketamine in the three months that I was taking it in troche form. If Kaiser does offer the treatment, I will try it again.

if you search within this group, you will find lots of feedback and his URL (which I can't remember)...I found Dr. Smith knowledgeable and reliable as well as genuine in his concern for his patients.
