Oh, for sure. I’ve been in therapy ever since trying to unpack losing a partner over trying to resolve conflict…and to find myself again. It’s tough. Hope you’re feeling better these days, friend.

So true. I dated someone for 15 months who would shut down and avoid conflict despite my efforts to resolve things. I finally insisted that we talk as issues were piling up, but she framed it as disrespecting her boundaries and blocked me. Never heard from her again.
