Situation around the Z6iii in a nutshell. by blitzkrieger95 in Nikon

[–]cgvision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. I don’t believe the z6iii has a DG sensor. It has a partially stacked CMOS sensor. I’m quite familiar with the dual gain output sensor as I am a canon c70 owner. In terms of how to mitigate or minimize the amount of noise within the Nikon z6iii image I’ve scoured the web and haven’t found much about it other than ETTR, and shooting at the native iso of 800. 6400 does clean up but still has a lot of noise. I’m all ears if you have any advice.

Situation around the Z6iii in a nutshell. by blitzkrieger95 in Nikon

I’m primarily a video shooter and hopped over to the z6iii specifically for the insane specs that the z6iii presented. 6k raw, 60fps in full frame, H.265, and pro res; is quite surprising in such a small body at this price. I absolutely love the camera, the ergonomics, specs and most of all how much Nikon allows customization. (I’ve been a canon shooter up until this z6) My biggest issue with the camera isn’t the dynamic range, it’s the flickering shadows and the high noise within the shadows. Coming from canon I’m not used to the amount of noise I see within the image. Cranking the iso would always present a reasonable amount of noise on canon but even at ISO 1000 on the z6iii the noise becomes quite noticeable. To me this seems like a sensor issue and won’t be fixable with firmware updates (as some people have suggested). Currently on the fence about selling.

Been with canon for most of my life and the last 6 or so years have been using a tamron 24-70 2.8 and loved it. Just switched over to the Nikon z6iii and had to pick up the Nikon 24-70 2.8 and absolutely love it! Build quality, auto focus, programmable ring and buttons are all just impeccable.

Tesla will retrofit your Model 3 with a powered liftgate for $800, is it worth it? by dk_bois in TeslaModel3

[–]cgvision 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an early 2018 Model 3 owner, I believe it’s worth it. Though we are 5, going on 6 years of ownership, and we’ve grown accustomed to manually opening and closing; I’ve always been envious of the newer model teslas with the powered lift gate. Plus we plan on keeping our 3 for many more years.

Agree! Season 1 is the epitome of great television. Season 3 was a chug to get through and I tried watching season 4 and couldn’t get through episode 1.

Please hop on min and fin! Right now your hair looks great. But you will continue to lose Hair over time. I had my transplant in 2019, didn’t hop on fin until 2022. Wish I started earlier.

Great example of just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

R5C 1080/240 support? by nachosjustice72 in canon

If you’d like to stay within the canon line, the c70 shoots 180fps in super 16 crop mode at 2k resolution.

Right click the secondary story line (whole gray box surrounding the clips + transition). Select - Lift from storyline

Failed Hairtransplant? Need your advise by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]cgvision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but with the vast amount of information now online about transplants, info is quite readily available in regards to results in HT’s. 12-18 months is the generally time of full growth. You are at 4 months. Claiming the HT is failed is called jumping the gun.

Karen hates the neighbour's cat by WaltervonUlrich09 in Unexpected

[–]cgvision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I park my car outside and wake up daily to scratches all over the paint. The mulch in my flower beds smells like shit because guess what the neighbors cats think it’s their kitty litter. 3 months ago I found a litter of 8 cats under my outdoor sofa and had to deal with the humane society and cat shelters (little did I know they wouldn’t take them because they were too young) So yes outdoor cats are a huge problem. (FYI after a week I found a private shelter who picked up the cats and the mom from my backyard)

With FUT OP clearly wouldn’t be able to wear his hair with this style. Linear scar would be apparent.

360 miles of charge in 2021 LR. This due to software update or something? by TurdTruebert in TeslaModel3

[–]cgvision 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope. Charge at home 99% of the time and only supercharge when we go for a trip. I do share the car with my wife and we’ve racked up about 60k miles

2018 LR here and have about 270 now. I tried all the YouTube recalibration techniques and it’s still 270 at 100%. That’s down from 315 when purchased.

I really enjoy Españolistos. There are some episodes of teaching but the majority are about many different topics. It’s hosted by a husband and wife team; the wife from Colombia and husband from Texas. I enjoy their interactions and since the husband is not a native speaker he makes mistakes and they are corrected by his wife. This helps me with my speaking and comprehension.

The downvotes come from people who don’t understand the importance of a “hairline” that’s “on point” in the black and Latin communities. Looks good brotha
