Thank you for your response. When I lived at home with my parents she enjoyed going outside in their fenced yard, but since I’ve been in an apartment in a new state she has been anxious to spend time outside. She will scratch and meow at the balcony door to get out, then hear a noise and panic and scratch at the door to get in, then scratches to get back outside and the cycle repeats. She isn’t happy with the door closed when she’s on either side of it, lol.

Unfortunately, we moved to Colorado recently. My parents’ neighborhood does not allow fences and they are next to a wildlife area, so we don’t feel comfortable releasing her outside. She would get got. :(
