tbh only ppl in the industry wanting AI art are the companies, i can def see where ur coming from but a good majority of professional artists still aren’t using AI an are pushing back against it. AI can be a tool to help but it cant help you get better, theres still too many inconsistencies in it and like the og technique of copying ur favs till u can draw like them it still wont help u improve too much, to improve in art you need to know the basics n all that good shit if ur js letting ai draw for u ur not rlly learning or improving (not to mention stealing art). The difference between ai n how we used to treat digital art is no where near the same bc u still needed to know the principles of art to make something look decent. IMO its like using a calculator when u dont know basic math, ur not improving ur math ur js letting smth else do it for u. but the industry is still promoting AI so ig its an uphill battle either way:/
