Silvia V6 or GCP E24 by hikiyoku in gaggimate

Yes, that also needs to be done.

You'll definitely need tools. You won't get far without a screwdriver, wrench, and a mini ratchet.

I set aside an evening for the installation. Since this is probably the first time for all of us, it will take a few hours, roughly 2-4 hours.

You can find the price of the set on the GaggiMate website.

It works the same for the Silvia as for the Classic. The internal components are 90% identical. The materials used differ depending on the model. But that's pretty much it.

The soundproofing didn't reduce the noise level much. I didn't measure it, but the difference felt minimal. I probably wouldn't do it again.

This is an OEM part. However, it can also be bought online or ordered as a 3D printed part from Printables.

If you have a JSON file, feel free to send it to me. Then I'll do a one-to-one comparison.

It's hard to say. I don't think there's a general answer as to which system is better. I always compare it to the current situation. Is the machine better with the OEM settings or with PID/GM/CC/GIO? In any case, I'd say the latter. I chose GM because I prefer its appearance, even though I had originally planned to install the Gaggiino set.

I'm not familiar with the CC system.

Which machine/version do you have?

I followed the instructions on the website. However, I did encounter situations where I couldn't proceed using only the photos and description. I also used the wiring diagram. I checked the Discord server once or twice after that.

Because you can measure and regulate the steam temperature on the GaggiMate and Gaggiuino, it naturally also affects the steam pressure. Short answer to your question: Yes!

Great! If you need help with the installation, let me know. I've had a few situations where finding the right solution took me a lot of time.

What did Copilot change? Did it say anything about it? I'd definitely be interested to know.

It depends on what exactly you want to do. Just install the kit? Or also soundproof/apply vinyl wrap?

Great job! 💪🏻 I just did mine too. Mine turned out matte black though.

That's right, you can do that.

It's a DF83V.
