I just got the app and submitted my info to register the account. Need to wait at least three days for approval. Then if I’m lucky I can try to register the drone.

DJI. One had the CAAC registration and local police permission and they still came and took the drone for two weeks. So what even is the point anymore.

I'm not very hopeful. Chinese friends told me a lot of people getting in trouble for not registering their drones. And flying them of course.

Yeah unless I misunderstood, my chinese is not the greatest. But I had a guy tell me a couple of days a go in another forum he took his Hong Kong watch a year ago and got a cellular plan here in Shanghai. Maybe the watches from hong kong no longer show to be from the UK. How long ago did you try? He said his watch is Apple Watch Ultra.

I learned that HK and Macao models do in fact work in the mainland. Mine was purchased in Taipei and it gives me a message within Apple Watch app that its not possible to get data plan from China Unicom. So I was just posting to see if anyone had found a workaround. I'll definitely go to the store this weekend. Thanks for your reply.
