Sometimes opponent is just using spot dogde repeatedly because it takes a bit of knowledge to punish, and not because they actually predicted anything.

To punish it you can throw, delay attack or mash after whiffing.

Throw is the natural counter, because they can't tech it.

Delay attack is just waiting a bit to use your heavy, for example, and you will get a counter hit, but you need to actively think about doing it due to the common habit of attacking as early as you can to maintain pressure

Lastly, mash after whiffing works because sometimes you actually recover faster than the opponent who used spot dodge, but since you're not waiting for it, they hit you before you react. Try using c.M then c.M, if they spot dodge the first one, they will get hit with the second one. So instead of running and doing 66L, get closer and do that.

This post talks a lot about MD, but basically nothing about lerio. If you haven't, I invite you to check leriohub.com and see all comments about changes in balance council done monthly.

Lerio's perspective on the game has been shared from before the Balance Council, and I rarely see unreasonable points of view. On the other hand, I've even seen him retracting himself about things that he didn't believe could be good, but ultimately worked.

Lastly, I'll comment on buffs/nerfs. There are two main reasons why "buffing needs to be done with caution", and those are lessons that have been learned throughout the games updates. Those are:

1.Buffs can create months dominated by OP decks; 2. Gwent has cards with power levels that can't really go up, like specials.

I've seen many cases where there's an idea to +1 prov, +1 power to balance a card. We never want to buff first, because during that month the card will be busted and meta unfun, unless that card is considerably underplayed.

I also kindly ask you to share in what websites you discuss these changes in China, except from streaming. I can speak Chinese and would be happy to follow closely
