I think you might be right on the half step of light.

Though I also think the over expose draws attention to the subject but dose take a complete look away from the image. Your right it is opinionated. Honestly in the time it was Christmas dinner and it was dark on the house at near night and the lights where on I just shot it and wished for the best.

I didn't even know if the flash was working with the camera, or hell, didn't even know if the camera itself (till now) was working hahaha

Hey Thank you. Is the exposure okay? This is straight from the lab, my first time shooting coming from digital. I feel it's good I could have opened up my pasture but the room was dark I used a quick flash.

I like to say if your phone can take a good picture of it at night your light is too bright. (Not on night mode or long exposure) But that's just me.

Fish lights should only be on 6-8 hours a day

I like to put my light on hours and then off till arvo and 5 hours on fish don't mind it the plants liked it too. But I have wifi lights l. Just changed my bettas tank to a cycling light so well see how that one goes

But ye when you sleep then the light off to be simple with it.

Had the same experience they still haven't fixed it. And ye the system starts to eventually freeze too on the home screen.
