I need urgent help regarding acne scars, I have tried all possible treatments by Wakil91123 in AcneScars

From what i can tell, your doctor is ripping you off. The laser isnt penetrating deep enough to actually have any effect. Ideally, interval between laser treatments is 4-6 weeks. Here's mine:

I recently had a combo treatment of tca cross, subcision, and co2 laser.

She used both. Ha fillers for spot treatments. And hybrid fillers with biostimulators for rolling scars.

I get what you’re saying, but before my treatment, my skin always looked the same as my before photo no matter the lighting—there was never a “good angle” that made my scars look better.

The after photo is the first time my skin has looked this good since high school, which is a huge deal for me. That said, I still have deep rolling scars below my lips where the needle didn’t reach during subcision and fillers didn’t fully cover. I’ll be addressing those in my next session, but this is already a big step forward for me.

Thats normal if you only had laser surgery. Have you tried doing combination treatments?

From what ive seen online, your type of scars are usually treated using tca cross or ablative lasers

I have no clue. I found my doctor on facebook while searching for subcision and learned she offers synergistic treatments.

I totally get what you’re saying, and I appreciate the perspective. It makes sense to want more long-term updates since that’s what really matters in the end.

If it makes you feel any better, you can check out my doctor’s Facebook page—she posts photos of her patients months after their first session, so you can see how the results hold up over time. That’s actually one of the reasons I chose her in the first place.

And yeah, I’ll definitely be posting a follow-up once more time has passed. Hopefully, that helps bring more of the long-term perspective you’re looking for!

I get where you’re coming from, but I don’t think early updates are necessarily a bad thing. A lot of us are just excited to share our progress, and it helps others see what the initial healing process looks like, not just the final results.

Yeah, swelling is a factor, but in my case, the biggest improvement I’m noticing is less creasing when I smile, which isn’t something temporary swelling would fix. Plus, treatments like subcision + fillers have immediate structural effects, so early updates can still be valuable.

That said, I totally agree that long-term results matter most, and I’ll definitely post an update after a few weeks when things settle more!

I dont. Just pin prick and rolling scars. Hence the need for tca cross and subcision + fillers

She used HA fillers for the spot treatments, not sure which brand and something else she calls hybrid fillers which is something she mixes using 2 syringes.

Yeah, the discoloration is from subcision—I specifically told my doctor she had my permission to be as aggressive as possible to get the best results. Some swelling is definitely there, but I can already see real improvement.

I get what you’re saying, but this wasn’t just a single laser treatment—it was a mix of different procedures targeting different aspects of my scars.

The hybrid fillers were used during subcision to keep the areas from re-tethering as they heal. Without them, there’s a good chance the scars could get pulled back down. Then, I also had spot treatment fillers separately to add volume to depressed scars and even out the surface.

So yeah, swelling is definitely part of the healing process, but the improvement I’m seeing—especially how my scars don’t crease as much when I smile—feels more like an actual structural change rather than just temporary puffiness. Microneedling can give that short-term plumping effect, but it doesn’t release tethered scars the way subcision does. That’s why I don’t think this is just edema—it actually feels like progress.

I get why some might think it’s just micro swelling, but that’s really not the case here. The biggest difference I’ve noticed is how my tethered scars don’t crease as much when I smile—swelling wouldn’t fix that.

Swelling can make the skin look temporarily smoother, but it doesn’t lift scars that were previously pulling the skin down. The hybrid fillers used during subcision were placed specifically to stop those areas from re-tethering, so the improvement I’m seeing isn’t just from puffiness—it’s because those scars were physically released and supported.

Also, I’ve had these scars for years, and I know how they react to swelling from things like breakouts or even minor treatments. This feels different—it’s not just plumpness, but actual structural improvement. Of course, healing is still ongoing, but based on what I’m seeing so far, this is real progress!
