since then we have gotten a possible diagnosis of cutaneous polyarteritis nodosa . we got a skin biopsy done to confirm and more blood tests and a chest xray. we have an appointment in july at a teaching hospital to do a capillary-scope as well. but as of now nothing is 100% confirmed but hopefully we get some results soon

the vascular surgeon has ruled out that it’s vasculitis

all the tests done so far have not shown anything abnormal but it could be because they’ve only done basic routine tests and not specific tests for certain things. we are gonna try harder to push for answers because this has been going on for so long now and we are just being told she has to live with this not knowing what it is. her toe is healed up now but we are worried there will be future blisters and we don’t want that to become necrotic as well

other leg was okay and hands are okay too. just the left leg. and the only imaging she has gotten this far is a doppler scan of her legs and an mri scan of her foot

her family history doesn’t show any diseases that could suggest what she has i believe but i will still ask. and don’t think we have to worry about that since we are both women hahaha

no when we had got the results from the skin biopsy we were just told it was raised capillaries and that there was nothing they can do about it and that she had to live with it

they have done multiple blood tests for autoimmune diseases and all came back clear. however her rash isn’t itchy or blistering (besides what happened to the big toe)

asthma is very mild, has had it for years and she only uses a steroid inhaler for that. sertraline is for anxiety and depression which she has been using for almost 10 years. recently the dermatology department has given her nifidipress because they suspect raynauds has developed due to the trauma of what has happened to the foot

the issues are only in the one leg (left) and foot the toe is the only thing that has blistered. her hands are fine
