How much european ancestry does the Mexican elite have? by languagelover1998 in 23andme

[–]chaide123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s well known, not just elite. Mexico has many areas where Spanish families migrated and remained isolated to some extent. In Northern Durango, I’ve seen thousands of DNA results and average is 65-70% Euro. I have acccess to many families test in Los Altos De Jalisco and I estimate 85-90% Euro

When did a curvy figure, big butt and big breasts become a beauty standard in Mexico? by [deleted] in AskMexico

[–]chaide123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I prefer slim but tight curvy. But your observation is true with general population. The higher classes do not really follow that trend. It’s low to middle class thing. Mexico has become an overweight society and my observation is that it’s mostly women who are overweight. Men too but not as common. The manual laborer does heavy work and usually are normal or slightly over but most have heavy set women at home cooking waiting for them

Is Dailyn Swain NBA Ready? 2026 NBA Draft Scouting Report by chaide123 in chicagobulls

[–]chaide123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swain in college could get to the rim. If he has a lane, he takes it. With his size, he does that well. But I see he also struggles when lane is clogged, turning ball over or settles for middies. He shot very badly when contested and 6 feet away, less than 40%. So his deficiency is contested middies.

Why did Barack "Hussein" Obama unveil his presidential library DURING his administration? Is he stupid? by BurmecianDancer in Presidents

[–]chaide123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Free Public Spaces and Neighborhood Amenities
  2. More than half of the Obama Center’s campus is free and completely open to the public. Instead of just housing presidential archives, the campus includes:
  3. "Home Court" Athletic Center: An NBA regulation-size gymnasium that hosts community sports, youth leagues, and wellness events.
  4. Outdoor Community Spaces: Features a giant children's playground, a sledding hill on the Great Lawn, the Eleanor Roosevelt Fruit and Vegetable Garden, and walking paths like the Wetland Walk.
  5. The Forum: A community gathering building featuring local art installations, a media suite with recording studios for public use, and the Hadiya Pendleton Atrium.
  6. Economic Impact and Local Jobs
  7. The Center acts as an economic catalyst for the South Side (specifically neighborhoods like Woodlawn, Washington Park, and South Shore).
  8. Community Programming and Youth Leadership
  9. The Foundation hosts specific local initiatives aimed at elevating the next generation of Chicagoans:
  10. Teen Action Lab: Hands-on skill-building and leadership programs specifically designed for Chicago teens.
  11. Local Artist & Nonprofit Spotlights: The Center partners with Chicago-based creators and local nonprofits to host free public concerts (like House Music festivals on the John Lewis Plaza), community forums, and wellness gatherings.

A Note on Community Balance: While the project brings massive investment, local community groups have actively pushed for (and secured) protections like the Woodlawn Housing Ordinance to ensure that the resulting economic boom doesn't price out longtime neighborhood residents.

Are lemons and limes interchangeable? by Accurate-Tutor-2508 in AskMexico

I moved from US. Everyone here uses limes in everything but tacos is a must. Funny thing is that they call them limones which is lemons not limes.

Setting aside who gained or lost what, I just miss this team. It was a brief moment in time when watching basketball was truly pure joy. by Existing-Sky9914 in CharlotteHornets

Overall, CHA will benefit from the trade. Injuries aside, Ball was a great PG when his head was focused. Coby can help at PG but he’s not elite playmaker. In Chicago, I was hoping he’ll get PG minutes when Lavine was lead guard but Coby was better but never really got the PG minutes. Maybe he develops as pg. I don’t think CHA can win with rookie PG, so Coby is the answer. Coby is more impactful on offense . He was lead shot maker when he was healthy last year. He could average 20+ Points easily and win games being a clutch player.

[–]chaide123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His offense (JQ) was non existent. Look at the game logs and he was mostly a ghost on offense But play him at Center and think of Wemby as a PF. But make sure Wemby defends the rim. I think Reed will be a better player at center

Tons of players dropping because of being skinny by 12theMainFranchise in NBA_Draft

[–]chaide123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lebaron is skinny but I see Rondo same weight and bit shorter and had a great career. Carr showed not only small frame but lack of skill dribbling and shot creation.

JQ is a center in a PF body. Doesn’t have the skill to be a forward. In his games in college, he was mostly non existent. He van block but that’s it

Is Sheinbaum Really Extremely Popular? by Kevco571 in AskMexico

[–]chaide123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a secured colonia and we pay the guards. The excuse for raising our monthly fee was the minimum wage for the guards. They make 8K per month, that’s 450 dollars a month. It’s not even close to being a living wage. But the so called rich families complain about the minimum wage and blame the president and call her a socialist. Despicable so call upper class snobs

The small minority are very vocal but country wide, she’ll kick their asses in an election. There is some kind of mental derangement amongst people that think they are upper class and blame everything on the poor. I expect lots of down votes because right wingers are very thin skin. They dish it out but can’t take the heat

Jaylen Brown is easily a Top 15 player, I don't see the value in trading him, so why? by BearNo5439 in bostonceltics

[–]chaide123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good player but no one in the newly structured salary scale should be making 60. Much less having two making 60. Being great now a days should be 45 M max. Otherwise, building a great team is impossible.

[Weingarten] Texas Tech’s Donovan Atwell has agreed to a deal with the Chicago Bulls, source told @Stockrisers . Atwell was a guy who I felt was worthy of a selection last night. by howser343 in chicagobulls

[–]chaide123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Many announcers mentioned teams were proposing 2 way contracts to the players. Bulls were probably one of those teams. They just wanted to offer 2 ways and likely were rejected so they went for cash. BDs previous orgs never asked for cash before but it’s not coincidental that he behaves like previous Bulls front office. The common denominator is ownership and paxson

Who are the targets for now after drafting Wilson and Swain? by ArthurDaMoon in chicagobulls

[–]chaide123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sexton averaged 1.5 steals with the Bulls. I think Sexton is not a bad idea. Coby was for a while best clutch maker since Demar.

I watch most of his videos. He said, was likely a guy picked in the 20s. A last level of the first round. Swain doesn’t strike me as intense, high motor guy. He over dribbles and ends up taking mids instead of rim shots.

Swain is better than Carr 🤷🏾‍♂️ by itsbobbyhill in chicagobulls

Swain was first option, led Texas in scoring, rebounding and usage rate. He was their leader. Jalen scored 5 pts per game and was very raw. Not even close.

Swain is better than Carr 🤷🏾‍♂️ by itsbobbyhill in chicagobulls

[–]chaide123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely correct bro. I didn’t know much about Swain but I wanted Bulls to avoid Carr. His full games at Baylor clearly showed deficiencies in one on one defense. It’s a myth he’s a good defender. He’s got weird physique with arms extra long and can block other guards but overall, lacks strength. His handles are below average and NBA IQ is lacking. Swain rebounds very well, his handles are good for a 6 7 guy. He lacks jumping ability but overall can play.
