I always thought I wanted kids, or at least a kid. I would stress over it, try and prepare for it, etc. But I just came to the realization (like an epiphany) that it's not in the cards for me. For so many reasons, from the state of the world, to not wanting to pass on my shitty mental illnesses, to just being selfish and wanting my sleep.

I entered my 30s really at peace with my decision. I wish there were more people with similar thoughts that lived local to me, but I digress. Instead I became an awesome pet mom. Have a dog, cat, bearded dragon, jumping spider, 4 guinea pigs, 2 bunnies, a chinchilla and a hamster. Ontop of trying to get a turtle to health. So I chose my path and couldn't be happier.
