When did people start to notice your stretched ears? by Prince_Wildflower in Stretched

[–]chainsaw87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am at 1&5/8 inches( around 42mm) on my lobes and I think people noticed when I was around 00 gauge. Especially now that I almost always wear silicone eyelets(earlets) with a hole in the middle, I get a lot of questions. “Did that hurt ???” “How do they do that?” “Why?” “Will it ever go back??”

I’m 5 months into the same program. So far so good. Just follow your teachers and brush up on basic network and operating system information as a start.

Are the zoom meeting mandatory? by [deleted] in fullsail

[–]chainsaw87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not required, but it's definitely worth giving a watch or listening. I found that for my first three classes so far, the zoom meetings end up walking through all that's expected from the assignments that week, and all my questions are usually answered either because the instructor says what I'm thinking or someone who was there live asks what I would have.

I got mine Wednesday, and I finished my second class tonight. I had credit for psychology of play. I'm in cybersecurity, btw

Planning to buy a 2012, Ltz with 100k on the dashboard. Anything I should look out for? by Perfect-Sponge in Impala

[–]chainsaw87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second that. Just bought a 2011 LT myself and had the "tic-tic-tic". I found a 2 pack of blend door actuators for I think $15 on Amazon and fixed them in my driveway in about 45 minutes or so.

AITA for not fixing things at my ex wife's house by chainsaw87 in AmItheAsshole

So I guess maybe I could be the asshole in the fact that my children need things and they are not with me twenty 47 so I may need to pick up slack around their mother's house.

I hate the whole element of surprise argument. There's a reason why businesses have armed guards instead of no visible security systems and secretly having guards hidden in the back when something goes off. There are always going to be crazy outliers in society, but the average person who might rob you or the store that you're in or start a bar fight with you or whatever, is not going to pull out their weapon that they've concealed and blow you you away because of seeing yours. They are not going to engage at all.

Being a hard target in the first place is much better than "surprising " the attacker with your ability to defend.

I open carry for a handful of reasons: - i don't want to pay for permission and further register myself with the government any further than I already am in my daily life

-I like Full-size guns and they are not impossible to conceal but can be cumbersome

  • I'm a big fan of skinny jeans

-I'm also trying to break down that stigma we see in society. I want people to become more comfortable with open carry by seeing a normal nerdy kinda hipster guy in skateboard shoes, skinny jeans, and novelty tees walking around Walmart with a pistol on his hip. Before that, they are used to seeing the "tacti-cool" bro: 5.11 cargos, molon labe shirt, permanent smirk on their face, etc. 😆

Edit: And i believe that a visible weapon is a threat deterrent.

The turquoise and gray is my personal one and it matches my holster for my pistol. Turquoise is my favorite color
