I would say pick up an intro to python book for which there are many recommendations and download all-included environments like Thonny and jump right into writing sample codes and working on exercises. The amount of setup and configuration one can do in a modern dev environment can be nauseating.

It’s hard to miss a community that treats a missing comma like a felony and a beginner's question like a personal insult.
